A Postpartum Doula is formally trained and certified to provide mothers and partners with emotional, physical, and informational support following the birth of their infant. A Postpartum Doula understands the kind of support that is needed after the addition of a new baby - and come equip with information, tools, and tips to help your growing family.

Postpartum Doulas are dedicated to caring for the whole family. Topics of information include:

-Breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle feeding with breast milk or formula

-Support for emotional and physical recovery from birth

-Support bonding with your baby

-Diapering, bathing, dressing your baby

-Tips and tricks for infant soothing

-Screen for perinatal mood disorders

-Help you achieve your short term and long term parenting goals

-Discussion of changing family dynamics with the new addition and how to approach and grow intimacy with your partner.

Fees:

Day time - available in 4 hour blocks. $35-45 hr.

Nighttime options available for needed cases.
